The opportunities
Due to ongoing growth and development, TfNSW has rewarding opportunities for candidates seeking a Project Support Officer role.
Key accountabilities
- Oversee and lead a range of contract support services, including maintaining databases, to ensure the accuracy of the information and support the effective management of contracts.
- Administer procurement activities, including raising purchase order requests for goods and services and reconciling and processing invoices for payment to meet operating needs and to comply with regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Collect, analyse and compile information and prepare documentation and correspondence to support key management reporting and inform decision-making.
- Work cooperatively within a team, including exchanging information and assisting other team members, to achieve team objectives and work outcomes.
- Liaise with and provide high-quality customer service to members of the public, Service Providers and industry stakeholders.
- Undertake administrative responsibilities including records management, workflow creation, routine correspondence, and coordination of meetings and briefings to support the effective operation of the team.
- Identify and implement business process improvement and contribute to assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of systems, processes, and procedures.

Key skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience providing project support including contract administration, procurement, and administration
- Experience in the use of Microsoft software packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and in preparing correspondence and reports as required
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects and role deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail

Salary and benefits
The salaries and grades for the positions are TfNSW/USS Grade 5 ($83,263 - $95,984) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
